Mechanical & preventative maintenance

Equipment health data, extracted from CANbus and available through Tacmin’s easy-to-use online web application provides the technical team access to interactive dashboards that enable real-time monitoring of on-board systems.

Your fleet’s maintenance team can proactively monitor and schedule daily maintenance of equipment as and when it completes each shift.

Real-time driver mechanical & technical behaviour

Drivers are the most influential factor affecting safety on the mine. Tacmin’s equipment optimisation system provides real-time accurate data from the G-sensors and CANbus that enables you to measure and understand the driving behaviour and habits of your drivers. The system focuses on how vehicles are driven in terms of general behaviours such as acceleration and cornering, to how drivers engage mechanically with vehicles such as gear changing, clutch usage and braking.

Real-time notification of dangerous & aggressive driving

Significant performance improvements and savings can be made through efficient driving behaviours. Performance reporting is provided for each trip. The information can be segregated by a group or viewed for each individual driver allowing for trends to be analysed, problematic drivers to be identified and remedial action, training and driver skill upgrading strategies to be implemented.
