Project lifecycle modelling

TACMIN’s project life-cycle models provide for an interactive link between estimating, project controls and enterprise accounting. Our project life-cycle models share critical information in real-time that provides for the effective implementation of the project up to completion and its delivery. In the initial phase, before the project execution, we develop a thorough understanding of the project, outline a strategy, and assemble a strong owners team to ensure that every aspect of your project is planned out. Your project will meet all your objectives with regards to scope, quality, performance and safety while adhering to your time and budget requirements.

Design, analyse & re-engineer

Currently, there are no standard procedures that would sufficiently cover all the multiple-criteria requirements along with a breakdown into the preliminary and main assessment. However, at Tacmin the entire foundation required was created, such as definitions of requirements to an assessment method, selection and accurate description of the various assessment criteria and classification of the target system for typical project decision-making problems. Attributed to decades of experience gained by our multi-disciplinary expertise in all aspects of assets with the aid of Tacmin's business performance improvement system has enabled us to develop a well-established decision analysis process integrated into the overall project management process, vital for improving project performance. The process above has assisted numerous executives and boards from junior and major listed companies to make informed decisions for their projects across in Africa.

Asset readiness & audits

Tacmin Madini Australia, a Perth-based boutique project management consultancy that offers expertise and resources in delivering operational readiness, asset management and digital transformation services to mining and minerals, governments, construction, oil and gas, materials handling and defence sectors, has launched its Operational Readiness Management System (ORMS), a cloud-based application designed to improve the efficiency and cost of owners and construction operations.

The ORMS application which has been applied since 1996 by its sister company during operations improvement assignments on dozens of multi-commodity mines across Africa, is designed to manage, track, and enhance operational readiness. The ORMS aligns activity-based production schedules with the resources required to execute the same and provides for optimisation, efficiency and cost control of activities and resources simultaneously. The nett effect, it allows Operational Readiness teams to collaborate, manage, and perform at whole new levels of efficiency and effectiveness enabling the project team and its partners to get more predictable results and achieve what the business case intended.
